Review: Goodman's Oxford II DAB radio

You may have seen this little beauty featured in my Spring in the home feature this week, telling you all about how perfect it is to add a splash of colour to your room as it comes in this lovely 'Bonbon' pink as well as porcelain white, Berry red, sky blue, mustard yellow & moss green?

Well, I love it so much, I wanted to tell you a little more about it than just it's wonderfully pleasing aesthetic look.

This is the Goodman's Oxford II DAB radio.

Although the radio oozes retro chic with its 1960's design, it is nothing but modern with its functions.

As well as bringing up-to-date features such as DAB+ digital radio, the Oxford II also has bluetooth streaming functionality so you can play all of your favourite songs from your bluetooth enabled device!

The Oxford II has the latest NFC tap and pair technology meaning you can quickly and easily pair it with your smartphone without the need for codes or complicated instrustions.

If you happen to have a device that is not bluetooth enabled in this day and age, what the hell is wrong with you? Get with the time man!

Luckily for you, the Oxford II also has a line-in socket for connecting non-bluetooth devices.

With the DAB+ you can get a wide range of digital stations which I am so glad about because I am just a little bit in love with the Kisstory channel which I can't get on fm radio.

I know, I know, I am re-living my youth slighty and am straight back to my teenage days in the noughties when I listen to it though so I can't help but love a bit of kisstory!

As well as listening to kisstory plugged in at home, the Oxford II also let's me take my music out with me with it's extra-long battery life and tan leather handle for carrying making it fully portable.

I literally cannot wait to go and blast out some old skool anthems at the local park one day.

OK, OK, now I am getting a little carried away thinking I'm 14 again!

But it will be nice to use at the top of our very long garden in the summer or for picnics with the kids.

In terms of using the Oxford II, it couldn't get any simpler.

It is literally a plug and play job.

I did struggle a little with how to preset my favourite channel (kisstory obvs!) as the instructions included in the box are very simple, until I realised you can access the full manual online HERE.

To show you JUST how easy it is to use, I have put together a little video which runs through all of the Oxford II's features and shows you how to use them.

Kisstory may feature. Just a little.

The Goodman's oxford II DAB radio is £69.99 and is available from www.goodmans.co.uk
