Childrens craft: Homemade Autumn wrapping paper

Here's a fun little craft that kids love making and has a practical use!

This homemade wrapping paper is perfect for christmas presents to add the personal touch.

We used a roll of lining (wall)paper which is around 99p in most DIY sections and some apple sponge scourers which were a bargain 75p for 4 from the cleaning aisle in Wilkinsons.

You could use real apples, other vegetables or leaves for a cheaper autumnal option. The kids would have great fun collecting lots of different shape leaves in the process too.

Tack the lining paper down to a covered surface (floor works best as its such a large area) with masking tape or blue tack and let the children print away to their heats content.

Leave to dry then wrap your presents and jazz up a bit with some glitter and apple print tag.
